Game for the game Jam Trijam #202 "3 hours to create a game"

I have used asset from Unity assetstore to speed up the process.

Note : Game is done in very short time, there is some bugs

Timing for the jam :

  • Thursday & Friday : +- 3h : Prepare Unity project, download free packages, think of the concept and ideas, review the documentation for navMesh, found small tuto for simple AI wandering.
  • Saturday : 
    • 15' create the map using prefabs
    • 15' NavMesh setup and AI code (simple wandering) + animator
    • 1h30 Code raycast and AI attack (using part of code from other unfinised projects)
    • 30' Player setup and shooting code
    • 30' Game Manager setup, menu, score, loop : start - play restart
    • 30' Small polish : Playtest to optmise speed of robot move, projectiles, etc ...
    • Total : 3h30
    • + 1h for more polish to found the aming bug without success
  • Sunday :
    • + 40min to replace the fps controller and fix aiming bug

This jam was a great experience! "bug fixing taking time" & I have planned several weapons and small loot etc ... bug it's a game jam :)

Aim bug fixed :)

A cool 3D shooter game that is (probably) located in a spaceship.

Pros:

  • Amazing work for 3 hours.
  • The robots look cool.
  • Kinda fast-paced at a suitable rate since there are enough robots to keep the player alert but not enough to overwhelm the player.

Cons:

  • Shooting system kinda weird
  • Could have a larger map.
  • Maybe not stopping the enemies at all when they're shooting.

Shooting is definitely bug & I don't found the problem :)
